Pacquiao is the new lightweight champion. It was an awesome fight - amazing moves, amazing speed. And props to Diaz, too, for fighting a good one (and cracking some jokes in his interview).

Of course, the national anthem in the beginning had me frozen and on the verge of standing up and singing along. Aming ligaya nang pag may nang-aapi, ang mamatay ng dahil sa iyo...

Now how do we get the same kind of energy and spirit to go towards civic engagement and committed public service…
