The Armed Forces of the Philippines invites you to join our Photo Contest anchored with the theme: “Why I Continue to Trust the Filipino Soldier” 

Mechanics:

1. Excluding military personnel, all civilians are qualified to join the contest. Only one (1) photo entry per contestant.
2. Photo Format: Full Colored or Black and White, Size: 8x10in (8R), Resolution: 300 Pixels Per Inch (PPI), File Type: JPEG 
3. Concept should be wholesome and creative. 
4. Featured objects/military personnel/place/figures/scenery positively representing the Armed Forces of the Philippines must be visible in the photo.
5. Contestants are only allowed to alter their photos’ brightness and contrast. No other photo enhancement/alterations shall be done; doing so will lead to disqualification.
6. No markings (intentional or otherwise) should be found on the photo.
7. Entries should not have been previously submitted or used in other competition or subject to copyright issues.

Facebook Fans’ Choice (10%)

• Send the JPEG file of your entries together with a short caption, your full name and address (in MS Word Format) to our email: afppaoresearch@gmail.com on or beforeSeptember 9, 2011.
• Attach your photo entry together with your caption/name & address to your message with the subject: AFP Photo Contest Entry by: (Your Name)
• By submitting, the contestants are allowing us, the AFP to publish their photos for promotional purposes; but with the proper acknowledgement of the photographer. The winning photo will be featured on our Facebook Fan Page and Official Website atwww.afp.mil.ph
• The winner may bring three (3) of his/her choice to join him/her in the Free Aircraft Ride.
